Presented Steve with revised layouts and ideas for the cover. It has been decided that because they are going to have a board to display the yearbooks at another event, which is wood, it would be best not to use a cardboard stock as this will just be lost. Instead, we could use a chosen pantone swatch or white with coloured text. The emboss option was popular and I think this is a keeper as a nice finishing touch.
The layouts still need more work and we need to present them a range of layouts from one main one, to show how the yearbook would work as the pages are turned. A mock up will be made for the next meeting in a weeks time.
A spot colour was chosen, we have told them we cannot guarantee this, but they are very keen!
